Incorporating Personal Elements in Assemblage Art

Learn the fundamentals of collage through creating a fun “painting” of an imaginary creature with collage papers. You will learn the basics of collage such as choosing paper; preparing supports; and how to use the fundamentals of color and contrast to create a fun and interesting piece. Let your inner child out to explore and learn in this workshop perfect for those interested in learning collage.

Cost: $10 collected at the beginning of class
Students to provide: A small collection of personal mementos to use in your composition. An apron and thin rubber gloves if desired.

Biography
Our instructors have been working as assemblage artists for years and have been members of the Assemblage Special Interest Group since its inception. This group of four artists won First Prize for their joint entry in the 2024 CPAC Recycle show.
