“An Introduction to Printmaking”

For members new to printmaking, add this method to your artistic skills. This three-hour course will introduce monotypes and enable participants to use two different processes for making prints: gel prints made with a gel plate and acrylic paint; and Akua prints made with a hard plastic plate and Akua ink. You will learn to hand-press the paper on the gel plate and to use hand-rolled pin presses with the Akua ink. Materials will be provided.
