Using the Color Harmony Wheel in Your Painting Process
Instructor: Layne Cook Johnson
We all know what the Color Wheel is but using it to achieve harmonious palettes can be confusing. This particular color wheel does an excellent job of explaining the functions. Layne will explain and demonstrate how she uses it to establish color schemes, make adjustments to a painting that’s not working, or find an accent color to make the painting pop.

Upon retirement, in 2001 she started painting, first in chalk pastels and acrylics then later in oils. She currently works in oil and sells her work in galleries in Seattle and Sisters, Oregon and Carmel, California.
