Feeling a little rusty after the summer break? This fun, mixed-media class is designed to help you get back into the creative flow! You’ll be guided through a series of relaxed, intuitive exercises that gently build toward completing a unique, expressive painting.

While the focus is on exploring mixed-media techniques and working within playful parameters, the real goal is to rediscover the joy of creating — experimenting, layering, and reconnecting with the pure pleasure of making art. Whether you’re jump starting your artistic routine or simply looking to loosen up and try something new, this class will help you reignite your creative spark.

About the Instructors:

Deb Nealy has 20 years of experience teaching both privately and in the public schools. She has taught classes in using clay as well as most 2 dimensional art mediums.

Jeani Gustafson has 40 years of experience using and experimenting with a variety of art methods and materials. Through her gallery, she has taught workshops and beginning art classes.

Both Deb and Jeani are active members in the Santa Rita Art League and enthusiastic about helping others find their creative niche.
